Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings Game Review – PS2 game coming with standard action-packed and environmental gaming plus rounded gameplay

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is set in the year, 1939. The game tells the story of our hero a whole year after the events of The Last Crusade.

Indy sees another risky venture when evildoer Magnus Völler sets his sights on discovering the Personnel, which Moses used to pull apart the Red Sea. This historical relic having great powers is now called as ‘the Staff of Kings’.

Indy has to stop Völler from reaching this staff force which he can use it for ill purposes he has planned for. I have an idea that fans of the Indiana Jones’ pictures will discern this story to be same like The Last Crusade. However, I am quite sure that Staff of Kings will include some new plot features to distinguish it from all other Indiana Jones mythos. As far as the gameplay of this game is concerned, it seems to deliver somewhat standard action-packed and environmental gaming. Fighting is alleviated thru Indy’s trusty whip. Except than that of whip combating, the game will also be having some gun-play segments; these will probably deliver an on-rails, third-person gameplay.

The fight in the game is nicely characterized by variety giving player a rounded gameplay. The game comprises of quick-time events adding a motley feel to lengthy, linked combo attacks.

Now we should also see some other things than the combat and environmental elements of the game-play. There is also some dedicated vehicle levels involving driving around in a two-wing plan (same old fashioned as in 1939), a raft, and also an elephant! The environmental aspects of PS 2 game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings use a time-tested puzzle format. PS 2 game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings also features prominent attributes which are its HotSet environments; they change and develop gradually as the player interacts with them. You need to turn these environments to your own benefit and employ other equipments especially the whip to crave a path through each level.

unfortunately Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is not coming to the PS 3 and Xbox360 as there were some news in the beginning, however, it will be a big fun for other consoles.

Coming with various fresh multiplayer modes, an old-school inspired game story, and pretty good variety of diverse game play, PS2 game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is one deserving to be anticipated for when it releases this summer.

PS 2 game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is a product by Lucas Arts Entertainment. ESRB rating for the title is ‘Teen’. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is also coming on Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings for PS 2 will be released on June 9, 2009.
